Savance is founded and focused on customer satisfaction and business solutions that
reduce paperwork, improve efficiency, and ultimately increase your bottom line.
Savance was established in 1998 with a focus on bringing technology
to businesses. Our focus on networking, servers, and Information
Technology soon led to the development of software solutions.
We first automated the quotation and inventory management
process with our product we now call OrderSavant. With a focus
on the distribution market, we immediately recognized a need
for an integrated electronic in/out board with our product
line. We called this solution EIOBoard. While working with
EIOBoard customers, we were approached by a mortgage company
to develop an interface that would track the status of a loan.
We recently started development on an education tracking program
designed initially for the special needs programs.
OrderSavant
Many of the members of Savance have first-hand experience
in the distribution market and recognized the need to improve
quotation time, capture and report on inquiries, and integrate
technology to improve inventory control. OrderSavant was originally
designed for a leading electrical distributor in the mid-west.
They wanted to keep inventory at customer sites and maintain
stock levels easily and effectively. We utilized a bar code
scanner and our software to solve the problem. In the process,
we also created a solution for counter sales. By utilizing
bar code technology - flat, 3D, or RFID, we were able
to easily create orders and get real-time feedback of price
and availability. Inside and outside sales, engineering, and
management now have the ability to create quotes and orders
in seconds, fax or e-mail a quote from their desk, follow
up on a reminder by calling the customer with a click of a
button, or create useful reports such as low margin or lost
orders with their associated reasons. The system truly provides
a return on investment for a company in less than a year just
in the time savings alone. Coupled with better customer service,
improved work flow, and improved inner-office communications,
our product brings state-of-the-art to distribution.
